Terms and Conditions for First Coast Property Experts
Welcome to First Coast Property Experts. By scheduling and utilizing our interior and exterior cleaning services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure clarity, fairness, and professionalism in all our interactions.
1. Service Agreement
- By accepting a service quote and scheduling a service, you enter into a service agreement with First Coast Property Experts, agreeing to the scope of work as outlined in the service description and acknowledging these terms and conditions.
2. Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
- For recurring services, payment is due at the end of each service cycle (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly).
- A deposit may be required for large or specialty cleaning services, such as Move-Out cleans or extensive exterior cleaning projects.
- Failure to pay within the agreed timeframe may result in service suspension or additional charges.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Cancellations or rescheduling must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment will incur a $75 fee.
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment will incur a $100 fee.
- No-shows or cancellations at the time of service will result in a full charge for the scheduled service.
- First Coast Property Experts reserves the right to reschedule services due to unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather conditions or equipment issues.
4. Access to Property
- The client must provide access to the property at the scheduled service time. Failure to provide access may result in a full charge for the scheduled service.
- For Move-Out cleans, the client must ensure that the property is empty, with utilities turned on, to allow for proper cleaning.
- For exterior services, access to water and electricity may be required unless otherwise arranged.
5. Scope of Work
- Services will be performed as described in the service package selected. Any additional tasks or areas not included in the standard package may incur additional charges.
- The client agrees to ensure the property is in a condition suitable for cleaning (e.g., free of excessive clutter, furniture moved where necessary). If conditions are not suitable, the service may be rescheduled, or additional charges may apply.
6. Liability and Damages
- First Coast Property Experts carries comprehensive insurance and will take all necessary precautions to avoid damage to the property. However, we are not responsible for pre-existing damages or normal wear and tear.
- Any claims of damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion. We will address any legitimate damage claims promptly and fairly.
- First Coast Property Experts is not responsible for damages caused by improper installation or placement of items by the homeowner (e.g., faulty shelves, unsecured furniture).
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
- We strive to meet and exceed client expectations. If any aspect of the service does not meet the agreed-upon standard, the client must notify us within 24 hours, and we will arrange to rectify the issue at no additional cost.
- The satisfaction guarantee does not apply if the service was impeded by conditions outside our control (e.g., restricted access, excessive clutter).
8. Health and Safety
- Our team follows strict health and safety guidelines, including the use of eco-friendly cleaning products and protective gear where necessary.
- The client agrees to inform us of any known hazards or conditions that could affect the safety of our staff or the effectiveness of the service.
- For exterior services, we may request that the client secure pets and children inside the home to prevent accidents.
9. Confidentiality and Privacy
- First Coast Property Experts respects client privacy and will not disclose any personal information or details about the property to third parties without the client’s consent.
- Photos may be taken before and after services for quality assurance purposes but will not be shared publicly without client consent.
10. Environmental Considerations
- We are committed to environmentally responsible practices. We use eco-friendly cleaning products and methods wherever possible.
- For exterior services, we take precautions to prevent runoff into storm drains or natural water sources.
11. Service Modifications and Special Requests
- Any modifications to the standard service must be agreed upon before the service begins and may incur additional charges.
- We are happy to accommodate special requests where possible, but these must be communicated at the time of booking to ensure we can meet your expectations.
12. Termination of Service
- Either party may terminate the service agreement with written notice. Clients must provide notice at least 7 days before the next scheduled service to avoid charges for that service.
- First Coast Property Experts reserves the right to terminate the service agreement if the client breaches these terms and conditions or if the property is deemed unsafe for our staff.
13. Force Majeure
- First Coast Property Experts will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these terms if such failure or delay is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
14. Governing Law
- These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in St. Johns County, Florida.
