Accessibility Statement
First Coast Property Experts is committed to digital accessibility. We believe every visitor — regardless of ability — deserves a seamless experience when learning about our services, requesting an estimate, or accessing their client portal.

Our Commitment
First Coast Property Experts (“FCPE”) strives to ensure that firstcoastpropertyexperts.com meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, Level AA, as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive limitations.
We treat accessibility as a core promise — part of the same Gold Standard, Every Time. commitment we bring to every driveway, window, and floor we touch.
Conformance Target
Target conformance level: WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
Our conformance posture is “partially conformant,” which means that parts of the site do not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively remediating those areas — details are listed in the Known Limitations section below.
Ongoing Measures We Take
- Periodic automated audits using industry tools (Lighthouse, axe, WAVE) against WCAG 2.1 AA success criteria.
- Manual keyboard-only navigation testing so the entire site can be operated without a mouse — tab order, focus-visible rings, skip-to-content links, and logical heading structure.
- Descriptive alt text on photography and decorative imagery so screen readers can convey meaning rather than filenames.
- Color-contrast enforcement — all body text meets at least 4.5:1 contrast against background; large text meets 3:1; our gold accents (#D4AF37) are used only where contrast thresholds are satisfied.
- Screen reader compatibility testing against VoiceOver (macOS / iOS), NVDA (Windows), and TalkBack (Android).
- Responsive and zoom-friendly layouts that remain usable at 200% zoom and across mobile, tablet, and desktop viewports.
- Captions and transcripts for any video we publish with meaningful audio content.
- Form accessibility — every form field on our estimate and client portal flows has an associated label, error messaging is announced to assistive technology, and submit states are never color-only.
- Reduced-motion respect — our site honors the
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query and disables decorative animations for users who request it. - Ongoing training for our team on accessible content authoring, alt-text standards, and inclusive language.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content on our site may not yet be fully accessible. The following areas are under active remediation:
- Third-party embeds we do not fully control:
- Jobber client portal (
clienthub.getjobber.com) — our quote, invoicing, and scheduling workflow runs inside Jobber’s hosted portal. Jobber maintains their own accessibility posture; we advocate upstream for improvements and provide a parallel phone-based workflow as an accommodation. - CallRail dynamic-number-insertion widget — CallRail swaps our phone number based on traffic source. The widget itself is invisible, but users relying on deep automation may experience number-change timing edge cases.
- ElevenLabs voice-agent widget (Olivia) — our in-page voice assistant is a third-party conversational widget. We provide phone and email channels as equivalent alternatives.
- Embedded Google Maps, YouTube, and Trustindex review widgets — hosted by third parties; accessibility is governed by the respective vendor.
- Jobber client portal (
- Image alt-text backfill — a subset of legacy photos across hub and location pages still have incomplete alt text. We are working through a full audit and backfill pass.
- Older blog posts authored before our current accessibility standards may contain imagery, headings, or link text that we are updating on a rolling basis.
- PDF downloads we host for proposals or service agreements may not yet be fully tagged for assistive technology. If you need an accessible version of any document, we will provide one within two business days.
If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us — our commitments are only as good as the feedback we receive from the people who use the site.
Request an Accommodation or Report a Barrier
If you need assistance accessing any part of our website, want to request information in an alternative format, or believe you have encountered an accessibility barrier on firstcoastpropertyexperts.com, please contact us using any of the channels below.
Response commitment: we acknowledge every accessibility request within 2 business days and work with you to resolve the issue or provide an equivalent alternative. For urgent needs (scheduling, service delivery, billing), please include “URGENT” in your subject line and we will prioritize accordingly.
When you contact us, it helps to include: the URL of the page, a description of the barrier, the assistive technology you use (e.g., VoiceOver, NVDA, switch control), and your preferred response channel.
Standards & Legal References
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 — our conformance target.
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) — federal statute governing accessibility of places of public accommodation, which the U.S. Department of Justice has interpreted to include commercial websites.
- Section 508 — federal accessibility standard; we align to WCAG 2.1 AA, which Section 508 incorporates by reference.
Nothing on this page should be construed as legal advice. We are a Florida service-area business and this statement reflects our voluntary, good-faith adoption of the WCAG 2.1 AA target.
Assistive Technology Compatibility
This site is designed to be compatible with:
- Recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge on desktop and mobile.
- Screen readers: VoiceOver (macOS 13+ / iOS 16+), NVDA (Windows 10+), JAWS (recent), TalkBack (Android 12+).
- Speech-recognition software (Dragon NaturallySpeaking, built-in Voice Control on macOS and iOS).
- Keyboard-only navigation and switch-control input.
- Browser zoom up to 200% and OS-level font scaling.
Continuous Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a checkbox. We review this statement on a quarterly cadence and after any substantive redesign. When we ship new features — a client portal, a new service page, a voice agent widget — accessibility is part of the build checklist, not an afterthought.
Recent improvements:
- April 2026: Published this Accessibility Statement. Added skip-to-content links across all templates. Began sitewide alt-text backfill (roughly 66 images across 10 hub/service pages).
- March 2026: Deployed focus-visible outlines sitewide. Added reduced-motion handling to hero animations.
- February 2026: Rewrote client-portal login flow with labeled inputs, announced error states, and keyboard-first tab order.
