A coastal estate interior restored to the FCPE Gold Standard
The First Visit, Always

Before Ongoing Service Starts, Every Home Begins Here.

This is how we learn your home. We open every cabinet, we kneel into every corner, we lift every fixture. We set a baseline for what clean looks like under this roof — and we earn the right to come back.

The Gold Standard Deep Clean is a two-housekeeper visit that runs six to twelve hours depending on the size and state of the home. Marioly and Erendira work the rooms together, top-down and left-to-right, in a rhythm they have refined across more than a century of combined interior work between the FCPE team.

We do not cut the first visit short. The deep clean is the foundation — every maintenance visit after it is built on the baseline we set here, and every surface we disinfect is addressed with the rigor reflected in CDC household hygiene guidance.

By the time we leave, the home is not simply cleaner. It is ready to be maintained at the Gold Standard — week over week, month over month, without drift.

What We Actually Touch

Every Surface, Every Edge, Every Corner.

A deep clean is not a longer maintenance visit. It is a different scope of work — built to reach the surfaces that ongoing service maintains but rarely resets. Below is what the two-housekeeper team addresses, room by room, on every first visit.

Kitchen

  • Inside refrigerator including gaskets and drawers
  • Inside oven — racks, walls, door glass, gaskets
  • Inside microwave — interior, turntable, vent grille
  • Inside every cabinet and drawer — wiped and reset
  • Top of cabinets and dust ledges above the line of sight
  • Behind and under appliances where safely movable
  • Cooktop grates, burner pans, knobs, back panel
  • Range hood exterior, filters, underside
  • Backsplash, grout lines, silicone seams
  • Countertops, edges, under small appliances
  • Sink basin, faucet, sprayer, disposal flange
  • Trash and recycling receptacle exteriors
  • Pantry shelves dusted and reset

Bathrooms

  • Grout lines on tile floors — detailed
  • Shower tile, glass door tracks, and door frames
  • Shower head, handle, diverter — descaled
  • Tub interior, jets, surround, caulking
  • Toilet base, hinges, tank, and floor flange
  • Vanity drawers and under-sink cabinet interiors
  • Mirrors, medicine cabinets, and fixture backs
  • Exhaust fan cover and grille
  • Light fixture globes and bulb surrounds
  • Window sills, tracks, blinds, and sheers
  • Baseboards and tile transitions
  • Hardware polished, switches wiped

Living Spaces & Whole Home

  • Baseboards throughout — hand-wiped
  • Top of door frames and interior casings
  • Ceiling fan blade edges and motor housings
  • Light fixtures, sconces, and pendant details
  • Chandelier dusting where safely reachable
  • Window sills, tracks, blinds, and fan of shutters
  • Switch plates, outlet covers, thermostat faces
  • Interior door panels, handles, and hinge ledges
  • Closet shelving, rod tops, and floor corners
  • Stair treads, risers, and handrail undersides
  • Vent registers — dusted and wiped
  • Under beds, behind furniture where movable
  • Mirrors, glass tabletops, and hardware polished
  • Floors hand-detailed at edges, machine-finished center

If your home has a scope we have not listed — outdoor kitchens, lanais, wine rooms, art display walls, or similar — we price the added work transparently during the walk-through before work begins.

Our Method

The Discipline Behind The Visit.

Our housekeepers work to the same choreography in every home. It is not about speed — it is about never leaving a surface behind. Two passes, top-down, left-to-right, with photo documentation at each phase.

01 / Direction

Top-Down, Left-To-Right

We work ceilings and high ledges first, then surfaces, then floors — so dust never falls on work we have already finished. Within every room, the crew moves clockwise from the door, so no corner is missed and no stretch of wall is cleaned twice.

02 / Two-Pass Detail

Reach, Then Refine

The first pass addresses the deep reach — inside appliances, behind fixtures, the edges ongoing service rarely touches. The second pass refines — baseboards, hardware, glass, and hand-detail where it matters most to the eye.

03 / Supplies & Documentation

Pet-Safe, Non-Toxic, pH-Balanced

Every product we use is pet-safe, non-toxic, and pH-balanced for the surface it meets. Marioly and Erendira photograph the work throughout — before, during, and finished — so your file begins with a documented baseline on day one.

The Policy, In Full

Deep Clean Is Full Price. Always. No Discounts.

This is how we protect the quality of the foundation. The first visit is the one that cannot be compromised — it sets the baseline for every maintenance visit that follows. Discounting it would invite corners to be cut, and the entire relationship would drift from there.

Plan discounts apply to the ongoing maintenance visits that follow — never to the deep clean itself.

Gold, Platinum, and Diamond plan savings begin with the first recurring visit after the deep clean is complete. The deep clean itself is priced transparently, quoted to the square footage of your home, and never negotiated down.

— A Policy, Not A Tactic
What Happens After

The Handoff Into Ongoing Care.

The deep clean is the beginning of a relationship, not a one-off service. Here is how the first visit flows into the cadence that maintains your home from here forward.

  1. Step 01

    Deep Clean Complete

Marioly and Erendira close out the visit with a final top-down pass, a photo-documented finish, and a detailed file note on every surface addressed. Your home is now at the Gold Standard baseline.

  2. Step 02

    Walk-Through With The Owner

The housekeepers walk the home with you or your designated contact — room by room — to confirm the finish, note any specialty items for ongoing care, and capture preferences we will honor on every visit thereafter.

  3. Step 03

    Scheduled Maintenance Cadence

Weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly — we lock your cadence, reserve the same housekeepers for every visit, and begin maintaining the baseline set on day one. Plan discounts apply beginning with this first recurring visit.

  4. Step 04

    Seasonal Reset, As Needed

Many homes benefit from a seasonal deep clean in addition to maintenance — before the holidays, after heavy guest seasons, or on a standing quarterly rhythm. Seasonal deep cleans follow the same full-price policy as the first visit and keep the baseline sharp.

Frequently Asked

Questions & Answers

What is the difference between a deep clean and a standard clean? +

A deep clean is a top-to-bottom reset: baseboards, door frames, inside appliances (oven, fridge, microwave on request), inside cabinets where accessible, light fixtures, ceiling fans, grout detail, and every corner a standard clean would not reach. Standard cleans maintain. Deep cleans reset.

When should I book a deep clean? +

Before starting a recurring plan, after construction or renovation, after a move-in or move-out, before hosting out-of-town guests, or any time the home needs a hard reset. Most recurring clients get one annual deep clean built into their plan.

How long does a deep clean take? +

Most whole-home deep cleans run six to ten hours with a two to three person crew, depending on square footage and condition. We confirm the estimated window before we arrive.

What is the standard rate for a deep clean? +

Deep cleans bill at our standard rate, which is higher than a recurring maintenance clean because of the added hours and detail work. First-time deep cleans do not get discounted — the discount comes when you roll into a recurring plan afterward.

Do you clean inside the oven, fridge, and cabinets? +

Inside the oven and microwave are standard on deep cleans, inside the fridge is an add-on (we need it emptied or will coordinate with you), and inside cabinets is an add-on when they are empty. All three can be bundled into a single visit if you need them.

Will a deep clean remove pet odors, smoke odor, or heavy mildew? +

We can neutralize most household odors and mildew with our deep clean process. Heavy smoke remediation, biohazard cleanup, and severe mold removal are outside our scope — we will tell you up front if a specialty remediation company is the right call.

How soon can you schedule a deep clean? +

Most deep cleans book within 5 to 10 days. Call (904) 466-1622 or email info@firstcoastpropertyexperts.com to check the next opening. We serve St. Johns, Duval, and Nassau counties.
